单项选择题英语练习题

Plastic pollution has become a serious problem around the world. Every day, people use a lot of plastic bags, bottles and boxes. Most of these things are thrown away after one use. Plastic can stay in the earth for hundreds of years. It pollutes soil and rivers. Sea animals often mistake plastic bags for food and die. To solve this problem, many countries have started to limit the use of single-use plastic. In some cities, shops no longer offer free plastic bags. People are encouraged to bring their own cloth bags when shopping. Many restaurants also use paper boxes instead of plastic ones. Students can do their part too. They can use water bottles instead of buying plastic bottles. Small actions, if everyone joins in, will make a big difference to our environment. Even separating waste at home and turning off lights can help protect the planet we all live on.
