More and more people are moving from the countryside to cities. Cities offer more jobs, better schools and hospitals. However, city life also has its problems. The traffic is heavy, and the air is often polluted. Living in a city is expensive. Many people dream of a quiet life in the countryside. The countryside has fresh air, green plants and friendly neighbors. Life there is cheap and peaceful. But it may not have enough schools, shops and cinemas. Young people usually prefer cities because there are more chances for work and fun. Old people often prefer the countryside because they want a quiet life. In fact, the best choice depends on your own needs. Some people even choose to live in the countryside but work in the city by subway. With fast subway trains, the trip from the countryside to the city often takes less than an hour. Life in the city is often busy but exciting.
